Preliminary July data for hotels in London indicate the highest ADR and RevPAR levels for any July in the STR database for London.
LONDON—STR’s preliminary July 2019 data for London indicates significant performance levels.
Based on daily data from the month, London reported the following in year-over-year comparisons:
- Supply: +1.5%
- Demand: +0.6%
- Occupancy: -0.9% to 90.5%
- Average daily rate (ADR): +3.3% to GBP176.07
- Revenue per available room (RevPAR): +2.4% to GBP159.30
The ADR and RevPAR levels are the highest for any July in STR’s London database. STR analysts note that Wimbledon (1-14 July) helped push performance levels, and while overall occupancy was down slightly for the month, London saw 20 nights with occupancy above 90%.
STR will release full July results later this month.
